Being in Joshua Tree and disconnecting for a while
is always a refresher. I try to make it out there once
a year at least and its usually with Olivia. haha
We seem to always find ourselves lost on a crazy trail or
off-roading in a sedan but its the perfect getaway
from everything and I enjoy every minute when I’m there.
I joke that this is where I would go if there was a zombie
apocalypse because of how little the population is. The
zombies would never get to you! Though I’m not sure
what I would do about water. :P
Love you all.

Cross Country Road Trip: Colorado River

Let’s go back in time now to Peter’s and my road trip
across the US. We went sometime in June but I’m finally
getting the posts edited and up on the blog.
Peter came over to my house one day and said he wanted
to go on a road trip so we packed up and were on the road
in a few hours after that. We didn’t really have a plan and I
had no idea if Kylie was going to enjoy being in the car for
that long, but we went anyway… and it was great.
One of the liberties in being from California is that you can
just drive away into the sunset.. well actually, away from the
sunset. We headed east through Nevada and Utah during
the night and by the time the sun came up, we were in
Colorado. I’m pretty sure these photos were taken at like 7am.
Colorado is by far one of the most beautiful states
I’ve been in. And also one of the most terrifying to drive in.
One wrong turn and we could’ve been in the river. Thankfully
that didn’t happen. Stay tuned for more very soon!
Love you all.

If You’re Going

Sorry I’ve been missing lately! I went on a 10 day road
trip with Peter all the way to Michigan. We stopped in
Tennessee and a ton of states on the way back to CA.
I’ll tell you more about that later. These were actually taken
a while back during my first trip up to San Francisco.
I fell in love with the city. Such a difference from LA.
I felt like it was a mixture of LA and NYC with its own
charm as well. Definitely need to go back for longer next
Happy weekend!
