Some of the best festival advice I can give you is to have a scarf handy and wear comfortable/ durable shoes.

The scarf doubles as sun protection and also a dust filter and comfortable shoes are meant for obvious reasons.

I’ve teamed up with Teva to bring you some festival inspiration for the upcoming “Hangout Fest” this weekend

or any festival in your area. Hope this brings a little inspiration. Don’t forget your spf! Love you all. Shop the shoes HERE.

It’s Festival Season

As I’m sure you all know from your instagram feeds, Coachella is this weekend! I had an awesome time shopping at the Beverly Center to put this look together for you guys! Festival style to me is just taking your personal style and just adding a little something extra. Keeping in mind that the desert is a HOT place, I styled this breezy blouse with a more structured (but still extremely comfortable) skirt. I’ve been going to Coachella for 6 years now and comfort is key. I hop from the festival to the fashion parties on weekend 1 so I need to be wearing something chic but also something I can dance in. The Beverly Center has an awesome mix of high and low which is why it’s the perfect place to shop for the festival. My shoes and choker are from Forever 21. You are going to wear your shoes out so I’d opt for a not-so-expensive pair. The skirt is Sandro and the blouse is from Club Monaco. My bag is a vintage coach, however I was eyeing some of the gorgeous new bags at the Coach store at the Beverly Center. Adding a scarf to your bag adds just a little bit of color and it also doubles as a wind shield for when the wind chucks sand at you at the end of the festival. I promise it happens every time. I hope you guys like this look! I really had a fun time putting it together. A big thanks to the Beverly Center for sponsoring!

[su_column size=”3/4″]This day was amazing. Peter and I were looking for places to shoot and we found these docks with rental boats. You can’t rent the boats unless you’re a member of the club so we figured we couldn’t shoot down by them. I think the guy running the rental saw us looking down at the docks with our camera in hand and knew we really wanted to shoot down there. He called us down and said we were welcome to shoot by the boats if we wanted to. We thanked the guy a million times and shot our looks. Just as we were finishing up the man asked us if we wanted to take a boat out. I asked him how much it costs and he said “I won’t charge you, I’m sure you’ll get some great shots”. So we of course were so excited and thanked the guy again. What was a work day turned into a really fun date with Peter. Just a little bit of kindness goes a long way and I hope that I can put a smile on someones face just like that guy did for us. [/su_column]

This was one of my favorite evenings in Auckland. My friend Sophie invited us all over for dinner. The house was incredible. It had a full wall of windows overlooking the river below. We spent the night playing games and bothering the neighbors. Sorry if we got you in trouble Sophie!

I miss New Zealand so much, but I have some exciting travel plans this summer. Can’t wait to share. For now follow me on snapchat and instagram! @bethanystruble

Love you all.

[su_column size=”3/4″] We stopped and shot these on our way home from Indio. I absolutely love being in the desert. It’s such a strange place. I’ve noticed that every time I’m out in Joshua Tree or around Palm Springs, I always end up having a deep conversation at night with my friends. Maybe it’s because when the sun goes down everything is still and quiet and the only thing you can hear is your own thoughts.. Anyway, I love the desert thats basically it. Love you all. [/su_column]

Waiheke Island part 2

I would say, if you ever get the chance to go to New Zealand,
go!
It’s such an incredible place. And Waiheke Island was gorgeous.
We took the early boat out and left the island just as the sun was
setting over the city. The whole island glowed.
Other than me awkwardly taking bathing suit photos, we found
a cave that probably would’ve been hidden underwater if it was
high tide, we walked around the town and got the most amazing
gelato (mandarin orange and basil), and had a picnic on the beach.
And I was going to say this was one of the best days, but honestly
every day was as good as this one. If you can believe it.
More to come.
Love you all.
